I want to apologize ahead of time to a lot of my followers. Unless you have lived or visited the east coast in the US, then chances are you’ve never heard of Wawa. For those of you that don’t know, Wawa is a chain of convenience stores and gas stations. They are located along the East Coast in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Florida.
I grew up in southern New Jersey so I lived off of wawa food. Now living in Central Pennsylvania most of the time I once again am able to enjoy good ole wawa. I am sure many of you are thinking, “who wants to eat from a place that pumps your gas?” Normally I would agree with you, but wawa is not just an ordinary gas station. Wawa has so many delicious food options that are made fresh right in front of you. However the question is what can you eat from wawa that is actually keto?

If you are a coffee drinker then you’re already stopping somewhere before work right? Here is what you do..
Order your coffee black (bring your own keto creamer or sugar if it’s not available) along with a breakfast bowl. My go to bowl is a scrambled egg and cheese bowl with bacon, onions, mushrooms and any other veggie you want to add.
Macros: 470 calories, 32 grams fat, 27 grams protein, 9 grams net carbs.
Lunch / Dinner
Most of the world calls them subs, but if you are from New Jersey we call them hoagies and wawa has outstanding hoagies. Obviously the roll is not keto so the fix for that is…a hoagie bowl. You can customize this how you want. My go to is a lettuce bowl with italian meats, peppers, onions, tomato, american cheese, salt pepper, oregano, and a drizzle of light balsamic vinegar.
Macros: 250 calories, 16 grams fat, 17 grams protein, 10 grams of carbs.
Make sure to watch your carb intake. Most likely you won’t be able to eat wawa both for breakfast and dinner and still stay under your carb count. With that being said it won’t kill you if you are in a pinch and are on the road or unable to cook.
I also recommend the chicken salad bowl with your favorite veggies and a drizzle of oil. There are so many options you won’t have a difficult time at all finding something delicious while keeping it keto.
As always thank you for your continued support. If you have something you would like me to blog about please send me an email and let me know. I am very responsive usually the same day depending on where you are emailing from. If you don’t mind, go ahead and smash that share button.
