So once businesses opened back up did you go out to eat or did you continue to stay home? I’m curious how your keto lifestyle was affected if at all during this pandemic. Me personally I couldn’t wait to dine out again, safely of course.
It’s been about 4 months since my last post and I sincerely apologize to all of my followers and fellow keto goers. Even tho the virus isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, you have my word I am back ready to pump out some awesome content for you all.
MAKING THE CHOICE
It was a Saturday afternoon I just finished posting deals & sales on my Amazon facebook group and I suddenly had a craving for a steak. Most of the restaurants near me that aren’t a chain didn’t open until 4:30pm. No way I was waiting that long, especially since my breakfast was just a 22oz coffee w/ sugar free vanilla cream.
Applebee’s and Texas Road House were too far of a drive. The mall was takeout only and didn’t have steak. This made my choice pretty easy, Chili’s! Since they could only seat 25% capacity I had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated.
I take a quick glance and I immediately knew what I wanted. a Sirloin with a side of broccoli. Oh I almost forgot the requested melted cheddar for the veggies and compound butter to melt over the steak. I don’t know if it was because I hadn’t been out in forever. But it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long while.
The macros are great for an afternoon meal. 350 calories, 37 g fat, 1 g net carbs, 15 g protein. If you don’t want the butter or cheddar then take away 22 gram of fat and 100 calories.
